One sunny summer afternoon in Vaasa, Finland, two newly graduated business students sat on a terrace, sipping cold artisan beer and brainstorming business ideas. As they looked around, they noticed a huge, unused building surface—prime advertising space going to waste.
Curious about how ads were bought and sold, they dug deeper and found a messy, outdated process with no easy way for advertisers to discover and book media across different publishers. Seeing an opportunity, they envisioned a smart, centralized media search tool.
To bring their idea to life, they teamed up with two talented developers. Together, the four co-founders built Mediani—an innovative omnichannel platform making ad buying and selling easier than ever. What started over beers on a summer afternoon is now a game-changer in the advertising industry.
